Sherry's Suite

Our beautiful suite of private rooms will accommodate up to 4 people. You can expect a very private, peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. A place that you can call 'Home' while being away from yours. During this time, with the Coronavirus and the need for social distancing, Lisa & I would like to assure you that the Suite is completely yours and there is no shared space within the home. We take extra care in making sure you are in a safe, clean environment. Have safe travel's and stay healthy.

Charming suite, great location

Hosts live on upper floors. Lower level, private suite (stair access) has been designed and decorated for you. It features a living room with gas fireplace, bedroom, and bathroom. Next to St.Olaf college, 1 mile to Carleton and downtown, steps from the Ole Store Cafe. Our house is surrounded by trees, perennial gardens, and adjoins the St. Olaf athletic fields. Unfortunately, this space is not suitable for young children. Also, the stairs may be difficult for someone with physical limitations.

We know how great a getaway should be; a place that is full of character, with cozy spots that set the stage for great conversation, a reading nook for a great book, and the perfect comfy bed. The 800sf of Snug has it all. Fully updated and renovated while keeping the original limestone, brick, heart pine posts and 12 foot ceilings. Tucked away from the street so it's quiet, but near everything. You'll feel like you walked into a beautiful European apartment. Come and stay, you'll love it!

The Getaway in DT Northfield!

Located in the heart of Northfield’s historic downtown district, the recently renovated apartment offers modern-day amenities with its original old-world charm. You'll love the 10-foot ceilings, skylights, arched windows & open-concept space. In addition to the one-bedroom with a walk-in closet, The Getaway boasts an office, dining space, living room, cozy reading nook, full kitchen & Queen pull-out couch.

The Novella at Content Bookstore

The Novella at Content is a newly renovated 1BR apartment in the heart of historic downtown Northfield. Upstairs from Content Bookstore and Northfield Yarn, this unit offers sweet views of picturesque Division Street, extra-comfy bedding, and a stylish interior that echoes the early-20th-century details of the McKay Building in which it's located. With a well-equipped kitchen, family-friendly details, and an emphasis on quiet and ease, it's the perfect home base for adventures or retreat.

Hidden Northfield Cottage

A private, peaceful space 2 blocks from St. Olaf College and less than 1 mile from downtown and Carleton College. Our location is convenient, cozy and unique being an old ginseng farm, the duplex has a rural feel and is tucked away from the street. Enjoy a patio space to grill at while soaking in the outdoors. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but the Ole Store, a Northfield favorite, is just down the block. Dogs are allowed when added on the reservation and pet fee has been paid for.

Scandinavian Design Suite - Two Bedroom

We've designed a cozy modern Scandinavian two-bedroom space for your comfort and enjoyment. This sleek and stylish living space has a city vibe and all the comforts as well as the amenities you need for a great stay. It is located on one of Northfield's most beautiful and historical streets and just a short walk from the beautiful campus of St. Olaf College. This space can be available as a one-bedroom at a lower rate, as well. Look for "Scandinavian Design Suite - One Bedroom"

Downtown Writer's Loft - 1 Bedroom

Close to everything in the heart of downtown makes it easy to plan your visit. It's 1 ½ blocks to groceries, brewery, coffee shops, restaurants, event centers, summer markets and more. Carleton’s campus is a short walk and St. Olaf College a short drive away. You will climb a flight of stairs to this 2nd floor space to see great sunsets and views of the river. With so much going on downtown, you’ll still find this a cozy and quiet space to write, draw, create or just relax.

THE 508 LOFT: Modern Space Downtown

The 508 Loft is located in the heart of Historic Northfield. We offer a modern space that is still cozy. Our space has been newly remodeled. The Loft is in a historic brick building that has a great walk score to restaurants, entertainment, groceries and liquor store. Enjoy a stroll in the historical part downtown or unwind in the clean loft with a nice bottle of wine. We serve a lot of guests that have weddings in town along with college parents and professional(s). Welcome.

The Tiny House at Trout Lily Farm

Trout Lily Farm is a beautiful, peaceful six acre hobby farm. The Tiny has its own semi-private area by apple trees and a scenic barn, with its own patio table/chairs, barbecue, and firepit. This 168 square foot one-level Tiny is suitable for 1-2 guests (one queen bed). Running purified water, electrical/propane stainless appliances, full tub/shower, composting toilet, internet. Fully furnished, with dishes, coffee maker and electric kettle, linens and toiletries.

Ledge Rock Studio

Modern loft-style studio apartment converted from architect's studio, connected to mid-century modern house. Enjoy this quiet space full of natural light and a view of a prairie style yard, great for birdwatching. Take walks in the prairies and forests of Lashbrook Park and St. Olaf College just outside our gates. Walk/bike/short drive to downtown Northfield for groceries, coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, book stores, antiques, boutiques, etc.

Bless This Tiny House is a 267 sqft Tiny House parked alongside a huge, beautiful deck overlooking the lake! Take the kayaks out on the lake! Chill in the hammock with a good book. Grill burgers and relax by the campfire while the sun sets! The Tiny is especially cozy in the winter! Unplug and play cards in the leisure loft! The perfect setting for a couple's retreat! Minimalism and contentment! Be inspired by the beauty of God's creation!
