Watch the sun across the ocean from the tip of Cape Reinga the northernmost point of NZ - visible from this cabin, then the sunset behind Ahipara. This one bedroom apartment is the perfect spot for a getaway. You’ll enjoy the large, outdoor area and deck, complete with a warm outdoor shower, your very own private spa pool and sauna. Bikes & kayaks for you to explore the area. Located 5 min from the beach and world renowned hiking trails, beaches, fishing, surfing - the list goes on.

Welcome to your getaway. An expansive, lush property bordered by a stream and native trees with an extensive garden where you are welcome to wander and sit. A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Russell Outback Eco Retreat

Russell Outback Eco lodge is a beautifully designed space where you can kick back and enjoy all that nature has to offer, amazing night skies, sit by the fire and listen to the kiwis in the bush, relax while the children play in the tree houses and give yourself a digital detox, all the while leaving barely more than a foot print on the planet. Russell Outback Eco Retreat is off grid with solar power, tank water and a compostable toilet.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Come and share our amazing property with us. Set just back from the edge of a cliff bordering the Whangarei Harbour you will find a private 1 bedroom cottage, fully equipped with a kitchenette and bathroom, surrounded by sea views and native bush. A short stroll through the Puriri trees will lead you to your very own secluded beach.

We have a new modern two bedroom home with amazing views out to The Poor Knights Islands and over looking Dolphin Bay.There are many beautiful bays and interesting bush walks all within 10 minutes travel of our property.The Tutukaka Marina is a 5 minute drive where there are resturants and local shops.
