On the edge of Collingham a beautiful village .Newark show ground is 2 miles away close to the A1 and A46 lots to see and do cathedral city Lincoln Newark with its historic castle, Sherwood forest Robin Hood home, fishing Cromwell weir Or just chill enjoy a walk round the 44 acre farm feed the goats ducks chickens ,see the horses. Good discount for long stays gated secure parking .

On-street parking only but directly outside the property. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, and for the protection of guests, we currently leave a minimum of 24 hours between bookings.

Walking distance to pubs and restaurants the resident deer and pheasants may even put in an appearance perfect for nature lovers to kick back , relax - hot tub , Netflix, Sonos speakers, Philips Hue lighting and a log burner all make for a relaxing escape.

Located in a small village with beautiful countryside views, this spacious, 150 year old character cottage is self-contained with a garden to the front and a courtyard to the rear. It has two bedrooms, a newly refurbished bathroom, beamed living room and spacious kitchen diner. The cottage is 7 miles north of Melton Mowbray on the Notts / Leics border. Originally converted from a barn in the 1850s, it has been recently refurbished to a high standard but still retains many original features.

Relax in the hot tub and outdoor Kitchen BBQ area with glass in hand listening to the birds and watching the robins play. A truly relaxing break.

Surrounded by quaint villages the cottage is set within 25 acres and tennis court. A short drive to the historic towns of Newark and Southwell and the beautiful cathedral city of Lincoln. 20 minutes from the cottage are Sherwood Forest and the Robin Hood Centre and Clumber Park. Sheffield and Leeds are an hour away by car. The cottage features a wonderful moat and has private off road parking. Stabling and horse box parking available at an extra cost.

You will be comfortable in our house, full of character. Two upstairs bedrooms, with a king size bed & Freeview TV, plus one with single (further beds on discussion); bathroom upstairs and downstairs shower room. Downstairs sitting room with Wi-Fi TV, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge (no freezer), without a kitchen sink. Washing up service provided. This is all for your private use with your own front door, in effect a self contained unit.

The house lies 20 minutes from the historic town of Newark, Nottingham and Melton Mowbray and is ideally placed for a day out exploring Belvoir Castle or Holme Pierrepont Country Park (a major water sport centre). The property backs onto the Grantham Canal providing excellent walks and a cycle route. A secure garage is offered for bicycles.
