Enjoy this unique "base camp" while visiting our National Park and sites in southern West Virginia.

Love games and family fun, and want to see the New River Gorge National Park too? Come to the Game House! Try out the Battleship themed escape room with treasure chest at the end, play life sized Operation and Monopoly, drop the Mousetrap on our toy mouse, have fun with the Nintendo Switch, play Chutes and Ladders or Candyland on playable blankets, and more! The Little Green Guest House

We picked the perfect location for exploring New River Gorge! We actually live here and LOVE it. Over the last 2 years, we completely rebuilt this Little Guest House from the ground up while exploring and putting together the local's ultimate guidebook of the area. Our goal was to make a cozy and cute cottage to highlight why we love WV so much. We strive for eco-friendly practices because we want to see this place clean and thriving for our kids and visitors to enjoy for years to come.

The one bedroom has a queen size bed, a full size futon bed is located in the living room & a twin daybed. A full kitchen, fire pit area and walking distance to downtown Oak Hill.

Cute 1-BR stone cottage close to NRG

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
