This small, private Swiss chalet is cozy comfortable retreat for one or two persons. The balcony offers a magnificent view of the Rhone Valley and Swiss Alps of Valais. Ideal for nature-lovers or those who simply want to just get away to relax and breathe in the Swiss mountain air. The chalet acts a point of depart for mountain walks or hikes, bike riding, snowshoeing or even cross country skiing in the winter time. Ski slopes and thermal baths can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.

The train station offers good connections to the best sights of the region, including Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe), Luzern and Berne. Great location for skiing (only 20 min to the new Grindelwald Ski Terminal).

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. From here the cows were guarded and cheese was made from fresh milk. Gadestatt offers you an authentic overnight accommodation with lots of charm and attention to detail. Das Haus verfügt über 2 Parkplätze und hat Platz für 6 Personen.
