Near Old Fort's downtown, restaurants, shops, brewery & winery within a few blocks. Hiking & cycling trails in Pisgah National Forest are close. It has a spacious layout and an outdoor, covered porch to enjoy the seasons. Designed for two, four can be accommodated using the sofa bed. Stocked with all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay and maybe a few extras, including coffee from a local roaster, teas and homemade bread. If it isn't available, check Railway Rest, a mile from town.

Classic log cabin has a fabulous view of Lake Lure plus five ranges of the Blue Ridge, Perfect for family time or couples retreat or maybe just a well-deserved get-away. Enjoy extra outdoor privacy from our sundeck, patio and balcony. Each of the three bedrooms has its own full bath, and queen-sized bed plus all bedrooms are located on separate floors.Preparing meals is easy in the fully appointed kitchen with all the necessary appliances and a granite topped island for serving. (BTW No PETS!)

Plus you are less than 30 minutes away from Asheville and The Biltmore House. Come relax! NO PETS NO SMOKING The tiny cabin is 228 sq ft. Wifi and cell service can be spotty at times.

Dining room to have a meal with the family or play games. **No working fireplace 4 miles from I-40, 30 minutes from the beautiful city of Asheville 15 min. to Black Mountain. The Biltmore Estate is 27 miles. Lake Lure & Chimney Rock 30 min. Dog 15# or less $125. Only one pet, NO cats please. Late checkout or early checkin is priced by the hour. If it does not interfere with another guest rental. $20/hr.

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away.
