Welcome to our cottage on the lake! We renovated this home through the spring of '18 and are so thrilled to have it ready for you! Sitting less than 30-feet from the sandy bottom of Bass Lake, this house is a charmer in all seasons. In the winter months, enjoy snowshoeing across the lake and come home to a cozy fire. Inside beautiful knotty pine walls and ceilings; gas fireplace, full kitchen. Outside a large patio overlooking the woods with gas grille. Barrier free. Applewood and its sister cabin, the Cherrywood, are attached properties. Rent both for a larger event! They are part of the Homewood Cottage Association.

Absolutely no cats or other pets are allowed. We do not have a TV, but we do have fiber optic high speed internet.

Explore one of the nearby Lake Michigan beaches or trails, or enjoy our lakeside cabin in the evenings. Feeling social? Beulah and Empire are 15 minutes from the cottage, while Frankfort and Glen Arbor are about 20 minutes away. There are several great restaurants, and breweries nearby.
