We are in a remote, quiet area- perfect for recharging and reconnecting! We love it here and think you will too!

Moosilauke and enjoy stunning views, or hike Mt. Cube or Smarts Mountain for smaller fun family adventures.

Explore the headwaters of the Dog River. Revel in Vermont's finest skiing, hiking, biking, beer, and food just up and down the road. Outdoor sauna available for added fee.

Nestled in the mountains with a beautiful pond right outside your door. We reside on the property yet a fair distance from the cabin.

Cottage at Galusha Hill Farm, a secluded retreat

Solar-powered, this off-the-grid refuge sleeps up to five guests, in the same party, in a large lofted upstairs bedroom (Queen and Bunkbed) with private bath, and a pull-out futon downstairs, also with separate bath. A traditional Russian masonry stove with a bread oven keeps the Cottage cozy when the nights get chilly. A fully outfitted kitchen awaits one’s culinary whims, and an outdoor grill is available for outdoor dining on a 1000 square foot deck overlooking the pond.

To the people who have seen it, Light Hill is considered one of the most beautiful properties in the Barnard area. With its long range views, it is secluded and surrounded by 150 acres of sweeping lawns, untamed forests, tall pines and a swimmable pond. Hiking trails begin off the back yard. Walk down our driveway to Locust Creek where you can swim, fish or just watch the river flow. Woodstock, Silver Lake and the iconic Barnard General Store are just minutes away.

Private entrance, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom with washer and dryer, speedy fiber optic internet. The open kitchen has full sized stove and fridge with good cookware and appliances, adjacent to a large open living area. On a paved scenic road. Go up to Silver Lake for a swim, head out on any of the back roads for a run or a ride.
