We're a Dutch couple whose lodge is nestled in the mountains of Madarao in Japan. Our lodge provides capacity for a max of 20 guests divided over 5 units. Our cozy, comfortable space makes for a great base to explore the mountains around the region. During winter, we offer private ski/snowboarding lessons, and side and backcountry guiding. We cater to guests during all other seasons too and offer fine dining experiences during your stay. We aim to create the perfect vacation experience for you!

Cozy alpine guesthouse cabins with in-house natural hotspring baths in the forested highlands of Japan's epic 3000m Nagano Alps, offering the closest possible accommodation to the "Roof of Japan" - the Alpine Route and Takase hiking treks. Hakuba ski resorts start 15 minutes away. We also have a compact music studio in the main lodge with guitars, bass, keyboard and electronic drum kit - suitable for a small group of musicians with space for 3 to 4 players and 6 to 8 intimate audience seats.

Hakuba Powder Mountain has an unsurpassed ski-in/ski-out location. Just 1 minute access to Hakuba Happo-one ski lift. In 2019, we are happy to inform you that we have renovated our lodge and all suites are brand new! If you like the sound of this, then Hakuba Powder Mountain is the perfect place for you. １）Get on the lift faster than anyone else! ２）No need to find hotels or accommodation far away from the ticket office for ski lift. ３）Ski slope for kids are just in front of your room.

Kizuna Lodge is conveniently located located in Lower Wadano at the base of Happoone ski resort in the nice setting of Wadano Forest. Enjoy a spacious forest setting but only moments to the lifts at Happo, Happo Village, Nagano Olympics sign, Hakuba Fishing down and the Matsu river. Kizuna Lodge is a pet friendly property with great hosts and breakfast so come and make yourself at home in our comfortable nature lodge any time of the year. Our place is located near by a quiet forest in the area of National Park, and you will see the panoramatic view of Mt.Myoko and Mt.Kurohime from here. There are numerous hot springs and the famous tourist spots which are called Imori Pond and Naena Falls that are representing Myokokogen. Also, there are many unique ski resorts that are rich in density so you’ll be able to have a lot choice for your winter activities depends on your mood and the snow conditions of the day.

This twin room has delightful views of the valley and surrounding Japanese Alps. It has super comfy futons with its own private ensuite. This style of accomodations is great option for a couple or friends wanting that extra privacy. We are just 100M from the slopes and 50m from the closest of the 13 natural hot water onsens in town.
