Villa Cacao offers you a very comfortable, tastefully arranged house but above all offers your heart and soul an escape from everyday life.

Kleine Weide Cottage

Situated just outside the small town of Otjiwarongo, this little cottage will offer you peaceful, quiet and safe accommodation close to nature. Each bedroom has its own shower and toilet facilities. Cook your own meal, barbeque (braai) or visit one of our restaurants in town. For more information, feel free to ask the host. An own car or rental would be recommended, as we are not within walking distance of any commodities.

Welcome to our guesthouse! A guesthouse that is in the centre of Otjiwarango and close to Superspar, multiple service stations, Crocodile Ranch. Enjoy 1 of 13 comfortable bedrooms and 2 family rooms, each with TV, DSTV, WiFi, microwave, fridge, and private bathroom. Relax at the bar, restaurant, BBQ grill, and entertainment areas, with secure parking and a warm atmosphere designed for your comfort.

Crocodile Inn - Family Room

We want you to drop in and savor every moment. We have a beautiful and relaxing garden full of life, the best food in town, entertainment for children, a Croc tour on the farm and a Curio shop for the shoppers. Unfortunately, we have to ask an extra fee for all infants 0 - 24 months, which amounts to N$250.00 per infant. Although my name is very French, I unfortunately cannot speak French.

Northern Rock - Unit 4

Escape to the tranquility of Namibia’s Thornbush Savanna at one of our cozy countryside apartments, just 15 km outside of Otjiwarongo. Perfect for couples, this charming 1-bedroom unit comfortably accommodates 2 adults. Situated 6 km outside of town, surrounded by the Namibian country feel, this little bungalow offers an own entrance with your very own BBQ (braai) facilities. It can only be reached by car and is fully equipped. Enjoy the peaceful sunsets with breathtaking views, while sitting on the porch.

The Smilin House was custom built in 2025 for me, Konrad Thaler, a German born living in California for my frequent stays in Namibia.
