Unobstructed, westerly views of protected wetlands on one side of the point, deep water swimming dock on the other. Private docks. Cedar clad interior with large screened in veranda, offering a breezy vantage of the lake. Beautiful field-stone fireplace with insert. Quaint, retro kitchen. Large dining table seats 8. Sunsets and wildlife await!

Nestled on a large, private lot with easy access (2-3 min walk) to sandy beaches & stunning views. In the winter, x-country ski in Torbolton Forest or drive to Mt. Pakenham (30mins) or Calabogie Ski Resort (1-hour). The cottage has everything you need for a quiet, comfortable stay. Everything is within walking distance or a short drive: playground, soccer fields, library, convenience store/LCBO/Beer store, pharmacy, café, ice cream truck, skating on the river, a rink nearby and restaurants.

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.
