Wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle? Enjoy a stay at our 3rd Generation Family Ranch that is located 3 1/2 miles East of Highway 99. We have something for everyone! You can wake up and see cattle and horses on our working ranch. You can walk down our driveway and see the scenery of the Kansas Flinthills. You are a half mile from the Fall River Wildlife Area with its Public Hunting. We are also one mile from the Ladd Bridge where you can drop in your boat and/or Jetski and enjoy access to Fall River Lake.

Beautifully Modern Mayfield-Welch Cottage

The Mayfield-Welch is a beautiful well-appointed cottage that pays homage to the history of the land on which it is built. This comfortable cottage is tastefully decorated with items from the era of the National Champion Greyhounds trained on this property. Relax on our spacious front porch and experience the peaceful outdoors with geese flying overhead in the evenings or the occasional sightings of whitetail deer. The Prairie Home

Settled far out in the Tallgrass Prairie of the Flint Hills, the Prairie Home provides wide and endless views from a private hilltop. All rooms in the home, which was built by local craftsmen from native limestone blocks, have huge windows which frame the natural art of the prairie. Handmade woodwork complements the extensive interior stonework. The soaring ceilings provide a backdrop for original art collected by the owners. And everywhere you look, the setting will take your breath away.

The Blue Door Cabin

If you want a retreat where you can sleep in, slow down and savor nature's beauty, the Blue Door Cabin, tucked in surprisingly hilly oak and hickory woods, with a beautiful view of the pond, is your destination. Within two hours from Kansas City, Tulsa, Joplin or Wichita, and only 4 miles from Chanute Kansas, this preserved and revived cabin offers an easy getaway for city dwellers in need of a very affordable anniversary weekend, study or solitude retreat, or family hiking and fishing trip.

Relax with the family in our 100-year-old, single story, bungalow. We offer 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6. The interior is newly remodeled, including new central heat and air. We are still sprucing up the outside. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood while relaxing on the large cozy front porch. Our home is 3 blocks from the largest town square in the U.S. It is also a short bike ride from the Lehigh Portland Trails and the Prairie Spirit Trail State Park. Iola is the home of Allen Community College.

Rural getaway with incredible views & fishing pond

Relax with the family at this quiet, spacious, 3000 sq ft house on the hill with incredible views of what was called Paradise Valley. Upper level has two bedrooms with king beds, one bath, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and sunroom/living area. Lower level has two bedrooms, one with queen bed, one with 3 full size beds and bathroom. Separate game room has a pool table, tv, and fridge for entertaining. Property sits on 20 acres with a stocked fishing pond for your enjoyment.

Red Barn Hideaway

Come stay at the Red Barn Hideaway just 7 miles northeast of Emporia. This quaint little house and beautiful red barn have all the space you'll need. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms as well as a futon sofa in the living room and a queen sized air mattress. 3 Tv’s and wifi is available. The barn can accommodate 1 vehicle and other smaller items such as bikes, canoes, camping/hunting gear, etc. It's just a 10 minute drive into town and you're right near ESU and downtown Emporia.

Eleanor's Farmhouse

If you'd like to unplug & spend time on a Kansas Farm, this place is for you! The original 100 year old farmhouse has been modernized to feel cozy, yet still has its original charm. There is plenty of land to enjoy a walk, play games, star gaze, or start the firepit in our quaint tree grove. Although located *RIGHT ON* 75 hwy, the trees offer some seclusion from the highway. Very convenient for visiting the local lakes, traveling through, or just wanting to get out of the city.

Little Pink House

Flint Hills Glamping! Come reconnect with nature and rejuvenate by the water at this unforgettable escape. Stargaze, watch sunsets, or curl up and read on the loft Moonpod. For the explorers, there are plenty of gravel roads to bike, kayaks available for the pond, and flora and fauna to find. ***Please note*** This is a dry cabin-meaning there are no water facilities inside, but there is an exterior entrance to a bathroom/shower off the main house that is available 24/7.

Pomona Lake Front Cabin

Adorable 2 bedroom one bathroom cabin with a fireplace, large deck with hot tub, pretty view, good water frontage, nice flat yard and private dock to park your boat with a ladder for swimming. The cabin backs to pretty woods which provide peace and quiet, privacy as well as abundant wildlife. The lake is just 100 yards down a nice trail through the woods. A 3 person kayak is available for your use, as well as a fire ring and lawn chairs.

Holiday Hill - Honeymoon Cottage

The Honeymoon Cottage was designed with relaxation in mind! Take in the tranquil scenery and wind down by enjoying a sunset from the hot tub. The quiet location is perfect for a couple's getaway or girls’ trip! The picturesque Toronto Lake is also within walking distance. No matter your interests, we are looking forward to hosting you! For larger groups or multiple families, we also have an identical cabin right next door!

A Little bit of Paradise @ Summit Hill Gardens

Summit Hill Gardens Cottage, a little bit of paradise, is a place to enjoy solitude, peace and quiet. Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
