Welcome to The Cottage, a charming rustic retreat nestled within an essential oil farm. This self-catering unit is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, families with children and furry friends! Step into comfort with two cozy bedrooms, a bathroom, an open kitchen and living space with an indoor fireplace. Outside, the verandah beckons with a braai and wood-fired hot tub, where you can unwind and solve the problems of the world while sipping on a sundowner and soaking in the breathtaking views.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Very peaceful and relaxing with plenty of bird and marine life at your doorstep. A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. In certain months of the year enjoy windsurfing at our door step too

Bird’s Nest Cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway or as a base to explore the Overberg area. Or why not stopover on your way to somewhere else? The Cottage is nestled in the hub of the heritage area of Stanford Village. It has its own private entrance and garden with braai facilities, a kitchenette and a table for dining or work. Or simply relax in the small private courtyard. Conveniently positioned in walking distance of local amenities and restaurants, or the Klein River for a quick dip.

‘Moonshine Cabin’ With Spectacular Lagoon Views

Moonshine cabin, located on the banks of the Klein River Lagoon, Hermanus, is a much loved home, filled with happy memories. The cabin has a spacious open plan living area with WiFi, air conditioner and tv in the lounge. The living area leads out to a deck, with a seating area and braai. The cabin sleeps 6 guests. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with views and ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen and a single bed. The third bedroom is a single. There is a kayak for guests to use.

Certain months enjoy windsurfing on doorstep. Close to Grotto beach - main swimming beach- making memories have never been this easy. MAIN FOCUS IS OUTDOOR SPACE. PS the lagoon sometimes undergoes an ecological change, mother nature busy with a natural fermentation process.

Beach access via bridge currently unavailable.

Belle Cabine - Log Cabin in the Milkwood Trees

20 Mins from Hermanus and 1.5hrs from Cape Town, hidden in the beautiful Middlevlei Nature Reserve on the mouth of the Bot River is this majestic log cabin. The cabin is situated within a 200m walk of the lagoon and 1km from the beach. It consists of 2 bedrooms (2 x DBL bed, 1x Single Bunk) & 2 bathrooms, indoor fireplace, open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area downstairs with a balcony upstairs. There is a large outdoor entertainment area with a built-in braai and picnic table.

Het Regthuys Meerenbosch

Middlevlei Reserve is one of the best-kept secrets in the Overberg. Just 15 min. from Hermanus and a 1.5-hour drive from Cape Town lies Meerenbosch, one of three unique areas within the reserve. Set among Milkwood trees and close to the Bot River Lagoon and the sea, this is a relaxed place where you may spot wild horses along the shoreline and enjoy the sound of the ocean. Wake up to fresh sea air, take easy walks on the beach at sunrise or sunset, and enjoy the calm surroundings.

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.

The Barn Styled Pod

The Barn-styled Pod offers an elegant yet comfortable escape, ideal for families seeking a touch of luxury in a tranquil farm setting. The pod features two beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms and comfortably sleeps up to four guests. Enjoy evenings around the firepit and braai, then relax in the wood-fired hot tub under the stars. Please note that nearby neighbours include our campgrounds and a glamping tent, adding to the communal farm atmosphere.

Beach cabin getaway in Pringle Bay

This is a tiny cabin built for the love of the Koegelberg nature biosphere. It floats on a sea of fynbos and lives out onto a large deck for breakfast with the birds, reading in the hammock, soaking in the fire bath, and dinner al fresco within earshot of the breaking waves.
