Picturesque Lagoon Cabin on Klein River Hermanus

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Very peaceful and relaxing with plenty of bird and marine life at your doorstep. A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. In certain months of the year enjoy windsurfing at our door step too

AKWA House is located in Hermanus, with beautiful views of beaches, mountains & lagoon. Located 2 roads away from the famous Grotto blue flag beach. (10 min walk). AKWA sleeps 10-12 people. It has 5 bedrooms; 5 bathrooms. The house is family friendly with 2 lounges, one with pool table, table tennis table and bar area. We welcome large families or groups of friends to come and enjoy a wonderful stay and enjoy beautiful Hermanus. Akwa has a solar system which means no more loadshedding! .

The log cabin is situated in a bird sanctuary on the outskirts of Stanford overlooking the Klein Rivier It is raised on stilts allowing for one of a kind views of beautiful wetlands, mountain ranges and surroundings. As rainfall throughout the year isn't consistent the water levels change at will. Vlei dry at this moment. means that you will either have a massive body of water enabling you to use the canoe or a dried up pan perfect for walks to the river. Have a kolkol hottub also at cabin

Concordia Dam Cottage

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

PS the lagoon sometimes undergoes an ecological change, mother nature busy with a natural fermentation process.

Perfect for couples or families, the Farmhouse is situated on a hillside with views of the cliff-face, the olive orchards, the valleys and the surrounding hills. Located on the Diepklowe Private Nature Reserve we have 1000 acres of fynbos and renosterveld that is home to a wide variety of birds and wildlife. Hikes, views, riverine forests, olive groves, streams and rock pools and a reed-ringed dam - swim, kayak, picnic or just sit under the willow tree and quietly enjoy the solitude.

Het Regthuys Meerenbosch

Middlevlei Reserve is one of the best-kept secrets in the Overberg. Just 15 min. from Hermanus and a 1.5-hour drive from Cape Town lies Meerenbosch, one of three unique areas within the reserve. Set among Milkwood trees and close to the Bot River Lagoon and the sea, this is a relaxed place where you may spot wild horses along the shoreline and enjoy the sound of the ocean. Wake up to fresh sea air, take easy walks on the beach at sunrise or sunset, and enjoy the calm surroundings.

You could stroll through the orchards, canoe on the dam, enjoy the summer sun in your own pretty, private garden, or curl up, under eiderdowns in front of a crackling fire, in winter.
