You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass. No WIFI or TV!

The Potel Tiny Home 14x40

Tiny home nestled on the edge of the Shawnee National Forest. A cozy one bedroom with full closet and stacked washer and dryer the bed is a full size. Kitchen with stove, fridge and microwave. It does not have a dishwasher. Living room has a smart TV sign in to your Netflix, Sling, YouTube TV etc. Wi-fi provided. No cable. Full bathroom with shower unit. Some of our guest has said sitting on the porch watching the beautiful sunsets each night was an added bonus for staying with us.

This lake cabin is also located near the wine trails and is the perfect getaway to enjoy the lake amenities, hunting, fishing, zip lining, rock climbing, hiking, biking, and enjoying nature at its finest. Come to Southern Illinois and enjoy a genuine country experience. Located a half mile down a red gravel road the country farm house is only 15 minutes from Paducah, KY or 10 minutes to the Shawnee National Forest or Fort Massac State Park. The farmhouse sits on 40 acres and is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a full kitchen and two sitting rooms. The yard is large and shaded. After a fun Day can enjoy the evening with food off the grill or roasting hot dogs and marshmallows on a camp fire.
