Cozy apartment & sauna in the center of Saariselkä

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Velkommen til Skipperstua "Stella" med sitt maritime preg, lyse farger, sjøutsikt, romslig musikksamling og egen fotokunst på veggene. Stedet innbyr til avslapning og ro og ligger ved fjorden på Varangerhalvøya i den samiske/norske kommunen Unjargga/Nesseby. (N70) Sentralt til i forhold til naturbaserte, sesongbetonte aktiviteter og for utforskning av Varangerhalvøya, Nasjonalparken og Øst Finnmark. Robåt, bålplass kan benyttes fritt etter avtale. Vertskapet bor i hovedleilighet på gården.

Nice apartment and meeting with happy reindeer

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.

Cosy log cabin in Ivalojoki river with all amenities needed for a comfortable and adventurous stay: please read the full description before booking! The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.

Studio with own entrance & a kitchen and a bathroom. 10 min walk from the bus station, from the supermarkets and other services. The Ivalo airport is only 10km away. There are two single beds. Desk and chairs You will also find a kitchenette with fridge, stove and microwave, crockery and cutlery. The studio has a private bathroom with a shower. Towels and toilet paper are provided. The apartment is located in Kirkenes centre with a few minutes walk to shops, cafés, gym and airport shuttle. 20 min walk to the museum, forest and cross country ski tracks. The flat has a balcony with view over town and a fire place for extra warmth. Perfect for single travelers, couples or groups up to 3 persons. An extra mattress may be made up for your arrival for the latter.
