Welcome to Rainier Explorer Cabin in beautiful Packwood, the gateway to Mount Rainier National Park and home to White Pass Ski Resort! This petite retreat(500 sqft)is the perfect home base for all your mountain adventures. The large deck features a 4 person hot tub w/ gazebo and outdoor seating, and leads to the lighted wooded pathway to the firepit. The chabin-chic interior has been newly updated and features an electric fireplace for added coziness! River access is a 5 min walk away as well.

Grøn Flugt is a family friendly, unique, modern, stylish cabin situated amongst towering trees in wonderful Packwood, WA. 5 mins to downtown Packwood 15 mins to the entrance of Mt Rainier NP 25 mins to White Pass ski area At the cabin there are many amenities: outdoor hot tub, outdoor fire pit, indoor wood stove, high-end chef's kitchen, luxury bathroom, EV charger and fully air conditioned. Come for outdoor adventures or just a relaxing getaway! We are dog friendly for small/mid dogs.

Historical White Pass Ticket Booth Packwood

This is the original White Pass Ski Resort ticket booth, then lifty shack, and finally wax room, built in the 1950's, when White Pass first opened. It became somewhat run down and put out of service, but was rescued by a Packwoodian with vision. It was hauled down from White Pass on a flatbed truck, where it was given a new metal roof, insulation, rough-hewn cedar and corrugated metal interior walls. With log bunkbeds, rocking chairs, cozy blankets, it's a snug abode for skiers and hikers!
