The Sugarshack is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday by the beach with local restaurants, cafes and even a cinema only 2 min walk away. Or if your in need of a place to stay for work we are also set up for your working needs with a comfortable Desk & Chair. Bringing the boat? Perfect! there's plenty of secure off street parking. Whether it be fishing, lapping up the sun on the beach or working out of town from home in a beautiful sunny location. The Sugarshack has got you covered!

Our location in semi-rural Welcome Bay puts you in easy reach of the surrounding Tauranga/Mt Maunganui/Papamoa/Te-Puke areas ( about 15-20 mins drive). Only 1 hours drive to Rotorua. 50 minutes to Hobbiton.

Friendly hosts are on site and available to recommend cafes & restaurants. Our beautiful dogs Olly & Stella enjoy a pat. Additional container room available for bookings of 3 guests or more only. A lovely two bedroom apartment. Bedroom one is a studio room with kitchenette, couches and dining and courtyard. A second spacious bedroom with second TV. A large fully tiled bathroom. Walk two minutes to the beach and Marine Parade walk and bike way. The guest suite is on the downstairs floor and is very private. We are right on Moa park with your own gate. Off-street parking is available. Close to central parade and the Mount attractions, this is a beautiful guest suite by the beach!

Fitted out with all new items, we haven’t spared any expense to ensure you won’t be disappointed with your stay.

Gorgeous Mount Beach Cottage - 3min walk to surf

One bedroom beach cottage. 1 min walk to the park, 3 min to surf beach and boardwalk, 10 min walk to supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Park the car, and chill out in the centrally located cottage. Smart TV, large modern bathroom and super comfy bed. Please note that the kitchenette includes airfryer / microwave / toaster. Please note the cottage is at the back of the property, facing the rear of the main house which is tenanted.
