Gold 'n Green Cottage

The cottage is located in Parksville's Oceanside Village Resort. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher opens up to the vaulted dining and living area. Each bedroom has a flat screen tv with Roku, plus another in the living room --although hopefully you will be enjoying the outdoors! Free wi-fi runs all your devices. All linens (bed, bath, kitchen, and beach) are provided. Coffee and tea provided, and some condiments. Grocery stores close. I do accept dogs. NO SMOKING ALLOWED, EVEN OUTSIDE.

The Chalet - Your home away from home

Our private, pet friendly location (3 acres) is the perfect base for exploring Central VI. Feeling adventurous? You could ski, surf, golf, bike and hike all in one day! If not so ambitious, enjoy a day of sight seeing, exploring local beaches, snuggle up by the fireplace. Or, better yet, grab a blanket and stargaze on the private patio with propane fireplace and roast marshmallows. Whatever you decide to do, 'The Chalet' is the perfect place to unwind and truly let Island Life invite you in.

Parksville Pineapple hut! Beach/downtown mins walk

Excited to host 2026! Family/pet friendly suite! Only a 10 minute walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants and more! Don’t miss the sandcastle competition, 2026! This is a central location! Take a day trip Tofino! The Pineapple Hut is a small but wheelchair accessible, main floor entry, safety bars in bathroom. One bedroom, sleeps 4 (double beds), washer, dryer, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchenette. Private entry and your own fenced yard. Make memories at the Pineapple Hut, right by the sea!

The Lazy J - a peaceful farm in a natural setting

Welcome to the Lazy J Ranch. We offer a self-contained walkout basement suite that sleeps four comfortably. The suite has a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a fully fitted kitchen/living room with a sofa-bed. It has its own patio with table, chairs and barbecue, and a view out over the fields and the forest. Nestled on 13 acres, The Lazy J is home to our alpacas, horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Walk down the trail to watch the animals, and relax beside the creek.

Oceanfront Home - 1bdr Suite is a separate space.

South facing, sheltered from most of the wind, walk-on oceanfront in the city! Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

West Coast Retreat - one block to beach

Welcome to our west coast escape that is only a short walk to the beach and 5 minutes to downtown Parksville. Enjoy our little sanctuary in this quiet neighbourhood. The townhouse looks out into forest parkland and is an easy five minute stroll through the resort to Rathtrevor beach. The beautiful sand beach stretches out almost a kilometre at low tide offering safe sandy beaches and warm water swimming.

Oceanside Escapes

Oceanside Escapes is a year-round destination, perfect for a romantic weekend away or an annual trip with family and friends. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is pet friendly (additional fee) and is available for bookings for five nights or more during the summer season (2026 onwards) and two nights or more during the balance of the year. The cabin is situated on two floors, with a loft style third bedroom and bathroom on the upstairs level.
