Located right by Real Ale Brewery just 2 miles from downtown Blanco with restaurants, shopping, and Blanco State Park. Austin and San Antonio are also easily accessible by car.

Enjoy the sunrise on the front porch or the sunset on the back porch while relaxing to the sights and sounds of nature. Take a step back in time and enjoy relics of the past in my cottage. Our house is a newly renovated 1940's craftsman located in the hill country of Texas. In historic Johnson City, Texas it is just one block from restaurants, shopping, wineries, & art galleries. This luxurious modern farmhouse is located in the hometown of President, Lyndon B Johnson. I look forward to making your stay a memorable one. I only live a few miles down the road towards the Pedernales Falls State Park (also something fun to do), so I will be handy if needed for any reason.

This is one of few places in the Hill country and still be 5 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg. Its located on 43 acres, and offers a plethora of exotic wildlife. As you drive in, there will be a second gate, there's an old style wooden covered bridge crossing a pond with cascading waterfalls! You are welcome to fish at the pond or our creek our back. We don't offer breakfast, but the kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans. We do supply coffee, sugar and creamer.

The Sapling overlooks the south bank of the Palo Alto Creek to the distant hills beyond.
