Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Crynant Cottage

Our cottage is set on an old working farm. We have some beautiful views and some lovely walks right on the doorstep. Crynant Cottage is based within the village of Ynysybwl, which is an old mining village. The cottage is just on the outskirts of a forestry called Llanwonno, which is fantastic for walking or biking. Within the forestry itself there are beautiful trails where you can find waterfalls and a reservoir, all within walking distance of the cottage.

The cottage is located in a peaceful and safe rural area where you will find livestock at the gate. The vibrant cottage borders the M4 but is absent from noise pollution. You're surrounded by the noise of wildlife. The perfect setting for ticking business off your "to-do" list or rejuvenating. It is ideal for those visiting any region of South Wales. The property is part of an active smallholding, the full land mostly used to graze horses. The cottages backs onto a large field where our Highland Cattle graze.
