This renovated cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. Located on the beautiful Shade Mountain, it is a great spot to relax and unwind. Great for the family. The cabin has NEW BEDS. Beds are two double beds, 1 single bed, a futon in our sitting room that sleeps 1 person. The cabin has running water, an indoor bathroom that includes a flush toilet, sink and a shower designed for shorten showers. A modernized kitchen has basic cooking accessories to prepare meals as well a coffee bar.

Local Kayak rentals available with in 5 minutes of cottage 10 minutes to Rusty Rail Restaurant. 55 minutes to Penn State, 20 minutes to Bucknell University, and 20 minutes to Susquehanna University. Lots of local hiking trails with beautiful scenery.

This open concept cottage is the most well appointed rental along the famous Penns Creek. It features 3 bedrooms - downstairs bedroom is a traditional enclosed room, 2 upstairs bedrooms are unique open loft spaces that are visible to each other. A room separating curtain is there for privacy. There's the convenience of two baths with a lovely claw foot soaker tub. The cottage has 180 degree views of Penns Creek and private creek access and firepit about 100 steps away.
