A short drive in either direction sends you to Historic Edenton or sandy beaches of the OBX. The Lake House is perfect for families relaxing or even a business stay. Other events must be preapproved. Traveling to the OBX for vacation? Drive to Elizabeth City, get some much needed rest and only have a 45 minute drive to your vacation!

Located in Snug Harbor, this 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage sits just off of Albemarle Sound on the Yeopim Creek. Just bring your own fishing gear and enjoy your private dock. For those boat captains, there’s a neighborhood boat ramp that is just around the corner so bring the boat. During raining days, enjoy the poker table, darts, and variety of boards/card games. 2 kayaks are available for your use during your stay. Enjoy kayaking, fishing and swimming at our shared park on the Albermarle Sound. Swim in our community pool and then end your day at a cozy campfire. Wake to the sounds of birds and fall asleep to the sound of frogs and crickets. We are located in a peaceful, family friendly community. Explore small towns, many events & historic areas, Outer Banks, Virginia Beach, OBX Water Park a short drive away. Boat ramp available.

Water Winds has Beautiful views of Albemarle Sound. Enjoy birding with Bald head eagles and Osprey, often seen in the cypress trees outside the great room. Paddling in the kayaks and exploring the sound are great ways to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Bicycles and yoga mats are all available to relax and enjoy some down time here. Smart TV, hi speed wireless internet along with a fun size pool table, foosball, dartboard and ping pong downstairs.
