This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

Relax and explore with the whole family on 107 acres of secluded wetland wilderness. There are 2 cabins sharing the 107 acres; the Loghouse accommodates 8 guests and the Birdhouse accommodates 4 guests. There are numerous activities to experience; canoe the cypress pond, hike the trails into the wetlands, swim or tube the sand bottom creek, fish the front pond or creek, or just relax around a fire and gaze at the stars.

Rustic country charm! "Chickie's Roost" is a two story apartment like space in a barn overlooking a farm and a beautiful pecan orchard. Private entrance, upstairs is an open loft with queen bed, full bed, futon, TV, sink, microwave, refrigerator, 2 coffee makers and bathroom.
