Wild Orchid Farm

Located on a working farm this charming studio unit is in the upstairs of a newly renovated 1800's farm house. Enjoy the exposed rafters, kitchenette, private bathroom, four-piece bathroom with soaker tub and separate one-piece shower. Turn in for the night on bamboo sheets under a handcrafted wool comforter. This is a working farm with cows in the field, chickens free-ranging (the rooster crows early!) , and Alpine dairy goats. Located just 4 km from StFX University and downtown Antigonish.

Relax and enjoy in our tranquil duplex cottage with a kitchenette, private bathroom, queen size bed and pull out sofa bed. Spend the day picking sea glass from one of our beautiful beaches just a few minutes drive away. Go for a stroll, cycle or snowmobile on confederation trail which can be accessible less than a minute away. There are many historical lighthouses and museums, wineries, boat tours, deep sea fishing, clam digging, golf courses, restaurants and shopping all within a 30 minutes.

Our property is a private & homey spot for those craving a taste of the country but still want to be close to amenities of Pictou. New updates to the unit include new bedroom flooring, new beds, & new refrigerator. Animals on property! Filled with antiques and refurbished furniture, pianos, and organs. This is our third cabin we have installed on our four acre property. There is an exclusive 6 person hot tub off the veranda and the sauna is only steps away.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool—weather permitting. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Cottage has been completely renovated inside with new kitchen, bath, flooring, all furnishings and appliances replaced. 30ft. Front deck has covered and open sections.
