The Yates Cottage

Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and has spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows. Other amenities are a screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs (with a single $150 pet fee), joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

Quaint 3 bdrm 2 ba home situated on the intracoastal waterway. Want to go to the beach but don't want to be in the mainstream of it all? We are close enough but far enough. Enjoy tranquil moon lit nights listening to dolphins as they swim by. By day, lounge on the porch, pergola, hot tub or dock and watch the parade of boats pass by. For the fishing enthusiasts an array of fish can be caught from the dock to incl, sheep's head, flounder, puppy drum, speckled trout, blue fish, crabs and more.

Harkers Island is a short drive to historic Beaufort, and Morehead City, NC, and gives you the quiet, out-of-the-way peace that can be so hard to find! Coffee in the morning, or a cocktail in the evening while sitting out on the patio and watching the dolphins swim by is in your future!

Private dock with a private Hot Tub, swim mat, fire pit, XL covered porch, large private fenced yard. BRING YOUR BOAT or rent our kayaks and visit Sharks tooth island or spend the day at a sandbar! You will never be bored. We provide a swim mat for endless fun on the water. Unbelievable sunsets over the Intracoastal waterway from the hottub or dock. Close to everything, 3 miles to beaches & hiking, 2 miles to walmart, 13 miles to Camp Lejeune,15 miles to Aquarium.

If you are an artist, fisherperson, kayaker, boater or just someone who wants to chill, you will love this. It’s quirky, private, artsy and has soul to refresh yours. Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.

This beautifully remodeled, PET FRIENDLY, home is packed with amenities including a pool table, arcade, movie room, massive outdoor deck, fire pit, fenced-in back yard, boat parking, and a private community boat ramp! Ideally situated between Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle, this spacious home sleeps 13 people and is only a short walk to our private beach access, the NC Aquarium, beachside restaurants, parks, mini-golf, go-carting, water parks, and more!

“Down by the Bay” is a great place to call home regardless of how short your stay! This home sits in a family friendly neighborhood that is in walking distance to Wilson Bay Park, Sturgeon City and the Riverwalk area of downtown Jacksonville. Very close, as well, to Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station and Beirut Memorial. If Kayaking is your thing, check out the pictures! Public kayak ramps are available at Sturgeon City. Less than 1/2 mile away.
