Hummingbird House is a tiny house decorated in a vintage style, with quality craftsmanship, making use of all recycled building materials. Tucked away on 20 acres with gardens all around, goats, hens, ducks, dogs and cats. The house is newly remodeled and has kitchen, bathroom, double bed, single bed/nook/couch, and dining area table and chairs, with modern heating and air conditioning. Coffee, herbal teas from the garden, sugar, honey, creamy goat milk and cheese are all supplied from the farm.

PEACE, COMFORT and BEAUTY. You feel peace as you drive up the hill, with a view of Folsom Lake (13 min) and Sacramento (38 min). Yet the happy hubbub of Auburn is only 9 minutes away. Arriving, you enter your peaceful private garden. Inside, true comfort awaits: nourishing sleep, creative cooking, luscious lounging (see amenities). Once settled, relaxing with wine glass in hand, you notice the beauty: the huge oak, hummingbirds, crimson-capped woodpeckers. And then you say, “Aahh, peace.”

Head into Tahoe for some snow sports during the day, and return home to a nice Hot Tub or Steam Sauna before letting the river's gentle sounds usher you off to sleep. Additional highlights include pool table, Ping Pong, Hammock, and strong internet.

Welcome to our Little Red Barn in rural Loomis. We love this area because we are surrounded by hundreds of destinations worth exploring. Whether you're interested in CA history, white water rafting, lazy lake days, skiing in Tahoe, farm to fork, or fine dining, then our Little Red Barn is a perfect jumping off location. Our barn features a completely remodeled guest suite located on the second floor. The suite has a private entrance and deck overlooking our but growing mini farm.

Our space is best for single occupant only as it shares a wall with our home. There is an extra guest fee of $40 per night. Enjoy your own space, bedroom (king bed), bathroom and kitchenette with private entrance and private patio. Please note heat/air is controlled by main house. This hosted rental is the perfect little getaway in the country. It is located on a mini farm complete with goats, chickens, dogs and a huge garden that you will have access to and is close to ALL the outdoor activities you can think of including hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, hunting and more. We are minutes from world famous trails, 10 minutes from the river, and an hour from the ski slopes. There is just so much to do right outside of our doors!
