A train does pass by a couple blocks away on occasion so we provide ear plugs and a sound machine for light sleepers. Sunsets and bonfires are beautiful on on the farm. 7 miles north of historic Abilene. We are located on blacktop. We have an array of barnyard critters including but not limited to longhorns, turkeys, roosters, goats, cats, a lamb, some chickens and a couple barking lazy dogs. No pets please, for the health & safety of our livestock.
