Nestled in horse country, we are 15 miles, 20 minutes from TIEC, 5 minutes from downtown Tryon or Landrum and 3 miles from FENCE. Located across the street from the Historic Block House the cottage was built to house horses and jockeys for the Block House Steeplechase. Completely renovated, it has a bunk bed with 2 full size mattresses, an eat-in kitchen with hot plate, toaster oven and microwave, WIFI and cable TV. Coffee and bottled water are provided. While being surrounded by nature can be an enjoyable and a relaxing break from hectic day to day lifestyles, please realize that this cabin is in the woods and we do have carpenter bees and camel crickets along with some ants. We strive to keep the pests at bay but they are part of mountain life. Shared spaces include the fire pit along with the overlook bench.
