1 Room Rustic Dry Camping Cabin 8 at BV Overlook

A rustic dry camping cabin with a front row view of the Collegiate Peaks. This is a campground glamping experience. Has 1 queen size bed and bunk bed. Queen bed is made and bunk bed linens can be provided upon request. This cabin has electricity, heat, private porch, picnic table and fire ring. Please note that there is no plumbing. Cabin guests have full access of our newly renovated bathhouses just a short walk away. Up to 2 dogs allowed with an added flat fee of $25. No additional pets.

A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax or adventure in a modern cabin cut into a rock wall <15 mins from Salida, CO. We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A renewed log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. A few miles east of us is Cottonwood Pass with hot springs, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Or, bike or walk a mile to the east for restaurants and shopping, the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond. Note: There are many pet-friendly options nearby, but we do our best to provide an allergen-free studio for guests.

Our cabin is perfectly located in the small mountain town of Buena Vista. It’s a short distance to downtown, South Main, and the gold medal fishing and world class whitewater on the Arkansas River. However, it has a quiet secluded feel and easy access to the hot springs that are just outside of town. You’ll love our cottage because of the well-kept stylish interior, the park-like outdoor space, and great views. It’s an ideal base camp for couples and solo adventurers.

Two Hot Springs are near by. Buena Vista and the Arkansas River are famous for white water rafting and Fly Fishing.
