Lake View Lodge

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views every morning across the meadow, Lake Windermere, fells and mountains beyond. The Lodge is a self-contained cabin with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

Lodge on the Lake is a luxurious property located in a very special position right on Lake Windermere within the Lake District National Park. Enjoy uninterrupted views across the Lake towards the mountains from the privacy of the Lodge. The Lodge has a private setting within the 5 star Fallbarrow Park which offers that special break. Take a five minute walk into Bowness town to enjoy the many restaurants, bars and shops or a Lake steamboat excursion. Please note, pets are strictly prohibited.

The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

The Herdvyk (#1) is one of our two beautiful bespoke log cabins, nestled on a small family farm on the edge of the Lake District National Park, offers a bespoke escape for two. This hand crafted, off-grid retreat features a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower.
