This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Day trip to Wigtown book town, Kirkcudbright artists town, Castle Douglas food town. Walk the Southern Upland Way or cycle the 250 mile coast to coast route.

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. A unique & tranquil getaway, Wee Knockinaam is a charming 2 bed cottage in a private coastal spot, spread over 7 acres of woodland, with a large garden, stunning views of the sea & sunset/sunrise, & a beach next door. It sits in an elevated position above a secluded cove, overlooking the Irish Sea. It was originally built as a cottage for gardeners at the nearby shooting lodge, which is now Knockinaam Lodge, a 19th century luxury hotel & the only luxury boutique hotel in Dumfries & Galloway!

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

Liddesdale Lodge

Liddesdale Lodge sits on the Isthmus of The Rhins of Galloway and Stranraer, perfectly situated for walkers, cyclists and wild swimmers. With its close proximity to Loch Ryan and other beaches makes it ideal for all other water based activities. Stranraer Golf Club can also offer golfers discounted daily rates. The ferries at Cairnryan are 14 minutes away. The self catering Lodge enjoys rural aspects, and is within walking distance of local bars, restaurants, shops and parks.

The Potager Tree House

Situated within the vegetable garden five feet up. Unfortunately, not suitable for disabled access. There is a tree coming up through the balcony which gets full sun in the morning for breakfast alfresco. Living area is small and quirky but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside there is a BBQ, a wood fired whiskey barrel hot tub and enough coals and logs provided for one night. The garden is secure and dog friendly. Private entry and parking.

This is a bespoke Shepherd's Hut designed for a couple or a singles, set in a 12 acre ornamental garden with Sea Views & Lakes. Close to beaches, Golf, Fishing, and the attractive seaside village of Portpatrick, ferry to Belfast & Larne (6 ) at Cairnryan. Stranraer ( 7) miles with all facilities. In the cooler months the wood burner heats up, and wood provided. Dogs can be off leash on Moorland..
