Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Five minutes walk to the harbour and local swimming cove and even closer to Cockenzie House - a thriving community hub with beautiful gardens, a cafe, vintage fairs, live music and much more. The coastal walkway John Muir Way runs through Cockenzie.

Randolph's Retreat

Our family happy place is a cosy, 2 bedroom (sleeps 6), Willerby Parkland Retreat static caravan, which we have recently made available for hire at Seton Sands Holiday Village in beautiful East Lothian. We are surrounded by nature, located in close proximity to the end of a quiet cul de sac a couple of minutes walk from the park’s walking trails but only a 5 minute stroll from the on site entertainment complex, activity areas and swimming pools.

It is the perfect holiday retreat for families, walkers on the John Muir Way - or simply for a romantic getaway. The views are spectacular. The cottage directly faces the sandy beach, a perfect little rocky cove, and the sea beyond. The sunsets are breath-taking and you may even glimpse dolphins and seals in their natural habitat.
