Foxglove Lodge

We welcome you to our peaceful one-bedroom cabin. Attached to the back of our home but completely self-contained, the lodge has its own patio and parking area and access to our gardens . Please note that a car is essential to get around and make the most of your stay. The cabin is warm and cosy with a small kitchen area for preparing simple meals , making it a perfect getaway for couples or solo travellers looking to unwind in nature, this is the perfect spot. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

Ballymore also has Artisan shops, take-away food, traditional pubs, and convenient shops. There are plethora of beautiful walks to choose from along the river Liffey. It is 40 min drive from Dublin city centre, a direct bus (65) to Dublin, 5 min to Blessington Lakes & Avon-Ri Greenway, & the historic Russborough House

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance.
