The East Cabin is quietly tucked between the Green Mountains of VT and the Adirondacks of NY. Soak up the morning sun on your private stone patio while mother nature comes to life on the pond and fields. Take a day trip to beautiful Lake George or Historic Saratoga Springs. Grill steaks on the BBQ and eat S’mores by the campfire at night. Farm fresh products for purchase at our farm store, including our own pasture raised beef. We also have the West Cabin available for your family and friends.

Welcome to our enchanting treehouse! We crafted this unique and magic inspired dwelling for any admirer of a beloved wizarding world, or anyone who appreciates isolation in a fun space. As you cross the elevated walkways, you'll feel like you're entering a wizards treehome in the forest. The 1,100 sqft treehouse is nestled in and among trees, providing a magical and secluded escape from life. The Cottage is located in historic East Poultney beside the former Poultney schoolhouse, now the local historical society. Enjoy the private hot tub after a day of skiing or exploring nearby Slate Valley hiking and biking trails. Downtown Poultney is just 1 mile away with shops, restaurants, and a pub, accessible by sidewalk directly from the cottage. Pico, Killington, and Bromley Mountains are all under an hour away. Lake St. Catherine is 3 miles away, and Lake Bomoseen is under 10 miles.

On the main floor of the house, there is an open layout that includes a library, a small bar, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. Downstairs, there is a finished basement that includes a large family area with a huge couch (perfect for movies), a workspace, and a laundry space. Private parking and lots of outdoor space.

I enjoy booking my two-story in-law apartment with a private entrance, which is attached to my 1850 Poultney Village home. I am located a block from Main Street with shops, books, and eateries. I am in the lakes region of Vermont, close to both Lake St. Catherine and Lake Bomoseen. Killington is 35 miles away. We am also located a mile from the NY border and the entrance to Lake George and the Adirondacks.
