Lakefront in Prattville…Summer time fun doesn’t get better then that! Enjoy swimming, kayaking & sunbathing, right out the front door. Carol’s Prattville Cafe is a few doors down & Plumas Pines Bar & Grill is a short walk away. Relax on the deck, throw some steaks on the grill, pour yourself a glass of wine, and take in the beautiful Lakefront view. Sorry but we do not have a dock. You may launch your boat at Plumas Pines Marina located 1/2 mile away. No early arrival unless pre-approved.

Welcome to Lake Almanor West! We hope you enjoy the beauty, peace and abundant fun available at the lake house. Lake Almanor is an aquatic paradise with water sports, fishing, beautiful nature trails, amazing mountain views and breathtaking sunsets from your deck or the beach. The home has its own dock, buoy and hot tub. You have access to a boat launch, 9 hole golf course, beach, recreation center, restaurant and sports courts at Lake Almanor West Country Club which is a short walk away.

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

As part of the Lake Almanor Country Club, you'll have access to the community summer concerts, sandy beaches, tennis/pickleball/basketball/bocce courts, boat launches, and golf course.

This is the place where kids forget about their IPADS and phones. Boat Dock is removed from Nov 1st to April 1st do to winter/snow conditions. Sorry for the inconvenience

You could walk out the backdoor of the cabin, into the forest, and arrive at the Lassen Visitor Center without crossing a single paved road, or seeing another human. Just bears.

Lake Almanor, Butt Valley Reservoir and Round Valley Reservoir are all within 25 minutes of the cabin. The cabin is our little slice of heaven, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
