  Villa Torre is part of the Tenuta di Murlo luxury private country estate that consists in various thousands of hectares Of immaculate countryside.  All the villas at Tenuta di Murlo have been crafted and lovingly restored from old farmhouses and each villa is provided with private pool and garden with views of the immaculate Umbrian landscape. Many other services and experiences can be arranged for guests on request through the very dedicated Estate Concierge Team Originally built as a medieval watchtower in the extensive Murlo Estate, villa Torre offers superb views of the olive groves and valleys near Perugia. Take in the panorama from the recently rebuilt three-bedroom home, which has room for up to eight guests, or beautiful outdoor spaces like an Olympic-sized pool and terrace. Enjoy the unspoiled countryside and secluded location as well as easy access to a golf club and restaurant, just minutes away. Today, the villa’s tower stands watch over a large pool, plenty of chaise longues under a lovely pergola, 2 outdoor dining areas, one covered with a lovely pergola and a barbecue. Climb the tower to read, stargaze or enjoy a glass of wine on the rooftop terrace. The interiors are cozy like a private home and offer Sky TV and Wi-Fi access, as well as air-conditioned bedrooms. Beamed ceilings, stone walls and rough-hewn fireplace surrounds lend rustic charm to the living spaces at Torre. In the living room, striped sofas, a painted cabinet and an upholstered ottoman create a welcoming, cozy spot, and the bright dining room, which opens to the garden, has both wicker chairs and banquette seating around a large farmhouse-style table. The kitchen’s open wood shelving has old-fashioned character, but it’s equipped with modern appliances. Each of the villa’s three bedrooms, tucked into the tower, has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. On the ground floor, there’s a bedroom with a king bed, and on the second floor, a bedroom with two bunk beds has plenty of room for children. On the third floor, a bedroom with a king bed opens onto the rooftop terrace. Though the villa itself is peaceful and rural, it’s just a 5-minute drive from the Antognolla golf course and restaurant. Torre is located on the Murlo estate, so take the time to explore the location surrounding the Murlo castle and the valley of Monte Tezio, both visible from the villa. The estate lies between Umbertide and Perugia, making it easy to explore more of Umbria if you’d like.
