The location is excellent, a minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs. Enjoy a BBQ in the beautiful peaceful fully fenced garden on a shaded deck. Set in Lake Pukaki in the Canterbury region, near Twizel, Pukaki Lakeside Getaway House has superb mountain and lake views. Twizel is a fabulous place for people loving the great outdoors with unlimited activities to do, including skiing, swimming, fishing or boating in the nearby lakes and rivers or biking, walking or running one of the many tracks around Twizel. Ruataniwha lake has a great shallow lagoon area, a perfect place to take the kids for some water play on a hot day.
