—winter rates till October — If you like kiwi nostalgia of a classic beachfront experience then this is you. Fall asleep stargazing in bed with the sound of waves. Wake up in this 1970's fully modernized Anglo caravan and roll out onto the sand for your morning swim. After a day of relaxing or exploring many amazing beaches in the area fire up the bbq and enjoy cuddling up in front of the fire. If you’re coming up to do Cape Reinga & Te Paki sand dunes (day trip) we recommend staying two nights

Oak Tree Hut

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Recent rustic built wooden hut on our hillside property. One comfortable single bed . Breakfast corner , eat at the window overlooking the fields and SH10 or outside on the little deck. Toilet and shower is at the main house which has its own seperate entrance and will be shared with other guests if they are occupying the Cabin . There is a cooking area , 2 gas points and a BBQ , pans etc.. also double sink to wash up. Large parking area .

The Bach at Perehipe -short walk to beach

Best views around! No cleaning fees. No Pets. Relax and enjoy our Classic Kiwi Bach. Fully fenced, down a quiet cul de sac in Whatuwhiwhi, overlooking Perehipe Bay, on the beautiful Karikari Peninsula. A few minutes walk through a bush track to a lovely safe swimming beach. Perfect calm bay for swimming, paddleboarding, and watersports. Launch the boat off the beach ramp, spend the day fishing in Doubtless Bay or go out wide for game fish or off the rocks at either end of the beach.

Relaxing orchard cottage

Welcome to Little Bird Cottage, a tranquil, airy, light filled cottage, on 3 organic acres, overlooking Mangonui Harbour. The cottage has a great central location for visiting beaches and touring the Far North. It's a calm, rural, laid back haven with all the necessities, as well as books, boardgames, DVD's, a sunny deck and a hammock under the apple tree. Our visitors love the views and the peace and quiet. We live in the main house 30m away, with two friendly dogs and the 2 chooks.

The Far North is a hidden treasure, come and explore what it has to offer.

The tent in Houhora is handily located just 5 minutes from 90mile Beach on the West Coast, the Houhora Heads 5 minutes drive East, and dozens of world class East Coast beaches from 15 minutes drive. We are also fully off-grid.

Hilltop apartment & farm stay visit

Wake up in your own private, sun-drenched apartment. Perched on a hilltop, uninterupted views of Mt Camel. Our only neighbours are fruit trees, cows, a friendly dog and cat. Stunning sunrises and sunsets, fantastic for romantic get-aways or a writer's retreat. We are currently in spring and have plenty of cute little calves roaming the paddocks. The apartment is set on the north end of our family homestead, with a kitchen, bathroom & private entry.

‘Oranga’ is situated high in the hills above Kohukohu in stunning native bush. Three separate self-contained accommodations are all unique and styled with guests' comfort and convenience in mind (view on my profile page). Ideal for a weekend escape to the country or as the midway point to visit Cape Reinga and magnificent Tane Mahuta. We are 6kms from Kohukohu Village (gravel road) and 11kms from the Hokianga Ferry.

A short 2 minute drive or 15min walk to the beach!
