The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

A semi-detached 2 bedroom apartment overlooking park like surroundings & view of Oakura Beach & the Tasman Sea. A very short walk will have the sand between your toes and/or a dip in the sea. Entry into the apartment is via your own front door with an outside lock-box holding the key. The apartment has 2 good size bedrooms, both with wardrobes for storage. Bath robes are supplied for up to 4 guests. In the well appointed lounge/dining room area you will also find a TV, CD player & FM radio.

The stunning Oakura surf beach and Black Sand Pizzeria is just a 15 minute walk away, the cute little Oakura village, cafes and restaurants, a 12 minute walk away, and the Kaitake Ranges a 15 minute walk.

The closest town of Rahotu lies 5min drive south, continue south along Surf Highway 45 to popular Opunake Beach. Travelling north Okato is a 10min hop, Oakura a 20min skip & the big smoke New Plymouth a 30min jump. Maunga Taranaki National Park is a 60min scenic drive around the mountain.
