Update: In September 2022 we were affected by Hurricane Ian. We had just over 5 feet of flooding in our treasured cottage. We have worked tirelessly to put everything back together. All new tile, walls, electric, lighting, furniture, and we even improved the bathroom! Spacious tropical home with water view from our back yard lanai. Boat Dock with Cleaning Fish Station, BBQ beautiful sunsets with fish jumping in our canal. New large kitchen and one block from art galleries, restaurants and bars.

The cottage just 20 minutes to all the local beaches, shopping, and fine restaurants. Additional entertainment activities include Major League Baseball spring training games.

We are off the main path and it is a quiet place to reconnect with what matters. We encourage our guests to unwind on our spacious comfy screen porch with chairs, table, and a futon chair for naps. Also use our large private maze outdoor shower. Be prepared for loads of sun and fun. Unlike most rentals ours includes all paper products, spices, plastic ware, toiletries, coffee, tea, all linens, beach chairs, noodle, sun screen, bug spray and GOLF CART available for RENT during your stay.

The Matlacha Cottages been completely gutted and redone twice. Beautiful galley kitchen, new queen sized bed, panoramic sunset views, and a private bathroom with newly tiled shower. We offer Roku TV, and WiFi. Work remotely here and get inspired! Shared back yard and patio spaces to enjoy the water and sunset views! Close by is Pine Island Community Pool, $3 entry.
