It is a laid back area, with sunny beaches and a river to take you to one of the islands where people still live the traditional way. In Ada you will find yourself among the local inhabitants. It is not too crowded with too many tourists but also not too remote or dull. In Ada you can swim, fish, hike, cycle or just lay in the sun. There are plenty of restaurants where you can eat local & continental dishes.

MAKS Resort has the most widest views over the Volta river. Its peaceful, serene and a huge hideout, away from traffic and pollution. From the bar area, you can sit in a natural environment and watch the boats go past, ranging from local canoes, and fishing to speedboats and jet-skies.
