A mountaintop escape near Highlands, NC with spectacular views from 4000’ right off the back covered deck. Our cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen, hardwoods, outdoor patio with fire table and grill. No better place to relax, escape and enjoy the mountains and view. Plenty to do - local hikes, fishing, and a mountain coaster and tubing year round at Highlands Outpost just a few minutes down the road. Highlands is only 10 miles away for a mountain city adventure.

Come glamp with us! This 1930’s historic Fishcamp Cabin is 2 bedroom/ 1 bath and located at Bleu Canoe Campground near Lake Burton. This cabin has two queen beds, kitchenette and living area. Centrally located between Helen, Clayton and Clarkesville, GA. Enjoy the convienece of a restaurant and hiking trails on property. Zen Mountain Escape: Rivers, Wineries & Solitude

Rustic beauty with modern touches all within a stones throw of two wineries. The first thing you notice here is the incredible stillness as you take in the dramatic view of clouds scraping the top of the Glassy Mountain 1200' above. Enjoy a morning espresso on the yoga platform in the trees 40' feet above the creek and then cool off after a hike/bike/paddle in the outdoor shower. Or let the summer breeze lull you into a nap on the sleeping porch sipping local wines. That's my favorite.

Cat Gap Cottage

Conveniently located between Lake Burton and the Tallulah River, this cozy pet friendly vacation home is the perfect place to get away from it all. With two bedrooms and one bath, it is comfortable and secluded. Nestled in the North Georgia Mountains, this cottage is easily accessible from the Atlanta area. It features a huge porch with a swing and rocking chairs, a gas fireplace for those chilly Autumn mornings, an electric kitchen, and a fenced backyard for small pets.

Gathering Moss Cottage on Burton Close to Helen

Gathering Moss Cottage is a wonderful family getaway or 2 to 3 couples retreat on Lake Burton. 30 minutes to Helen and half the price! Great views from the screened porch while reading a book or watching the kids play in the lake. Make some great memories at this fantastic cottage. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off.

The Honeymoon Cottage

This historic honeymoon cottage is located in the heart of Lake Rabun. This rustic cottage was built in the 1930s, and was renovated in 2002.This property is great for honeymooners or for a family of four. There is plenty of space inside and out for fun activities. It is in walking distance to the Lake Rabun Hotel, Hall’s Boathouse, Louie’s on the lake, and the Lake Rabun Pavilion. Don’t miss out on a great place to make some amazing memories.

Cade’s Place cottage is our restored guest cottage at Shady Oaks Farm. We have kept a rustic theme but have the modern comforts of today including wifi, usb ports, heat/ac, a large patio with an hot tub and a cozy gas fireplace. We are located 3 miles from the trendy shops and fabulous restaurants of downtown Clayton. 7 miles north of Tallulah Falls. Wineries, distilleries, golf courses, boating, waterfalls and hiking are also nearby.
