The Red Earth Palace Retreat

An architectural gem with private access to natural hot springs in the Rio Grande Gorge Park. A living and breathing piece of art on fifteen private acres nestled amongst junipers trees, pinon and sage brush, offering sweeping views of the surrounding valley. Sustainably built with cast earth walls, corrugated metal roof, radiant heat, and Japanese style mahogany wood work, plus all the amenities and comforts of a modern home. Miles of hikes into and above the Rio Grande River and Gorge.

Two-story guesthouse nestled in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Perfectly situated 20 minutes from historic Taos and 15 minutes from Taos Ski Valley. Newly renovated 1 bedroom, 2 bath with all the amenities, including hiking trails out your door. Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

Located just off a main road, The Treehouse provides easy access to the historic Taos Plazas, Taos Pueblo (a World Heritage Site), and Taos Ski Valley.

Latir Hike-in 20-foot Camping Yurt

PLEASE read all information about the yurt before booking. Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 0.7-mile hike (or bike) to the Latir Yurt (no driving). This is (upscale) CAMPING, not a hotel room. A wood stove provides heat, there is no electricity, running water, or room/maid service. We provide fitted sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Bring a sleeping bag or comforter for cold temperatures.
