Big R's Retreat Secluded and located in Nature

Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Staying in a dome amidst nature is a unique experience. The circular structure offers an amazing view of the surroundings, with peaceful sounds of rustling leaves, chirping birds, and a flowing river below. The cozy dome has a queen size bed, night stands, a seating area, mini fridge, and a k-cup coffee maker & heater/ac. At night, the starry sky and nature's sounds lull you to sleep. Waking up, you feel refreshed, and the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views leave a lasting impression.

Our cozy and romantic getaway is nestled in the scenic Baraboo Bluffs, just minutes to Devil's Lake, Devil's Head Resort, Historic Downtown Baraboo, wineries, distilleries & more. Take the picnic set to Devil's Lake or Parfrey's Glen, then relax on the patio for smores and yard games around the fire pit. Finish the evening snuggled up with wine & vinyl on the player. We have ample parking so bring the boat, we'd love to help you getaway.

Our 9 acre property offers a beautiful trail that leads to gorgeous sunset views, through the forest. A true nature-lover's paradise!

Tucked away on over 30 acres you'll find relaxation by the stocked pond, adventure out in the woods or cozy up by the wood burning fireplace (firewood not supplied) If you’d like to venture out , Devils lake is 15 mins, Wisconsin Dells 20 mins, and 2 ski resorts are within 25 minutes. Wineries, breweries, distillery, shops and restaurants can be found in the area.

This cottage-style home was built in the 1920s, and within walking distance to a few delicious eateries & bars. Visit Wis. Dells waterparks, Circus World (Baraboo), Devil's Lake State Park (Baraboo), House on the Rock (Spring Green), American Players Theater (Spring Green), Amish country (Loganville/Hillpoint), and more! Eagles Nest Retreat! Private Decks In Town

The Eagle's Nest is conveniently located nearby Timme's Dam and close to all the Dells’ attractions. If you have a fishing license, Timme's Dam is a perfect spot to make use of it. Kayak, paddle board or canoe into Mirror Lake just footsteps away from your front door. The best part about this home is the decks! There are 2 large decks on the back of the home that are perfect for grilling, hanging out and enjoying the beauty that made the Dells famous.

Ridgetop Retreat

Enjoy the natural beauty of the Driftless Area in Richland County Wisconsin. This is a well-appointed, four season country farmhouse on a fully operational farm. The access to the Richland County snowmobile trails is less than 5 miles away. Goats and chickens are out your front door. Deer, turkey, and other wildlife are in abundance. All county and township roads are open to UTV traffic. Enjoy tranquil star-filled skies all year long!
