The Escape Pod|No Neighbours|Pet Friendly|Drive to

This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

Private getaway in Chalk River on quiet Corry Lake. No neighbours in sight. Canoe, paddle board, swim, hike in the beautiful forest right next door, sit on the covered porch with lake view, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, or cook your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen :) Can work from home with WIFI and cell reception! Beautiful view with deck on the lake. Main floor is open concept kitchen (furnished), living and dining room. Full bath with shower. Master bedroom with queen. Wheelchair accessible. The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
