If you are looking for a romantic escape in the New Forest, just a short walk from the pub and open forest, then look no further. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, the Goat Shed is the stylishly renovated ground floor of a 19th century barn, with a kingsize four poster bed, claw foot bath and woodburning stove. Deer roam through the gardens, and our wood burning stove makes nights in perfectly cosy. A great spot from which to explore the forest, or simply relax in comfort.

Bentley Cottage is light and airy and is furnished to a high standard throughout. It has a spacious lounge/dining room/kitchen including a wood burner with logs supplied. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite). It is a short walk to the local shops, pubs, restaurants and railway station. Ponies, donkeys and cattle often come by the gate. Tucked away down a gravel track with direct Forest access Twit Twoo is guaranteed to take you away from the pressures of life. Relax in the three seating areas: decking, bbq area or on the bench overlooking the picturesque babbling Brook with a cup of tea or glass of wine. The only distraction is the wildlife. Dog friendly, ideal for cyclists with the wonders of the forest and coast on the doorstep.

One of 3 recently converted stables all named after breeds of horses. New Forest,, our medium size holiday cottage with large double bedroom, bathroom with shower and bath. A large bedroom looks out over the rear paddocks and its own patio, with table, chairs and its own hot tub. Kitchen with open plan lounge diner. TV in both lounge and bedroom. Underfloor heating throughout. The front courtyard has table and chairs and overlooks the yard. Private parking. Very peaceful and quiet.

It’s only a 20 min drive to the medieval city of Salisbury and 30-40 min drive to the sandy beaches of the South Coast. We have a friendly local village shop and pub within walking distance, and a fabulous ‘water-hole’ for swimming a few mins walk down the lane.
