Decking areas, outside the living space and bedroom give wonderful views of the countryside. Self contained open plan cozy cabin, quiet garden space with veranda and green roof. Sleeps four in two double mezzanine areas accessed by ladders. Kingsize quality memory foam beds. Comfortable sofa seating area, converts to pull out double bed if you don't fancy the ladder! Small well appointed kitchen with dual microwave oven, fridge, toaster, variety of pots and pans with tableware etc. Shower room and toilet, towels provided. Wifi, TV, DAB, central heating. Variety of tea's and real coffee.

Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.

Ruby Retreat Shepherd’s Hut in Devon

Ruby Retreat is a unique Shepherd's Hut hand built in larch, cedar and ash by local carpenter, Peter Milner. His skilled design and craftsmanship gives Ruby a very special feeling. She is brand new for 2023. She sits in her own secluded position on a working Devon farm. The views over the glorious Devon hills are truly captivating. There is nothing to distract you from gazing at the fields, hills, woodland and distant church spire (well, maybe some sheep and lambs frolicking).
