A cosy hideaway in the hills

Unwind at this peaceful oasis in the hills of Argyll in the Trossachs national park. Our converted barn has a twin bedroom downstairs & double room on the open mezzanine above an open-plan living kitchen area. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower, as well as a washing machine and a tumble drier. Access to the adjacent forestry road is via a car park 100m north along the roadside. This offers extensive walking routes, including to the Benmore Botanic Garden, Pucks Glen & The Coylet.

Easy to reach - 75 mins from Edinburgh. Lovely year round – in summer, sun and dining on the decking; in winter, walks and warming by the log fire. Wonderful views always!

Spacious 3-bed apartment on the top floor of former tenement building with gorgeous views over the Carrick Castle and Loch Goil. Perfect for a romantic getaway or an outdoorsy holiday with friends! I spend much of the year here myself but love to rent it to others to enjoy whilst I'm away.

The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.
