(High St. is barely 1 min walk away but the street is quiet, as it is an access only road) The annexe has a private entrance with 2 secure locks. Parking - free on site. Private en-suite bathroom & shower. Wifi, TV, microwave, kettle & light breakfast are provided (cereals/ fruit)& guests are welcome to use our cottage kitchen & laundry.

Cobbler's Cottage - peace and seclusion

Brixworth has a long tradition of shoemaking. Cobblers Cottage was where shoes would have been made by homeworkers. The property has its own private balcony with far reaching countryside views. Situated in a colourful garden the cottage has its own access. The prize winning cook/owner provides a superb breakfast which is included. Dinner is available on request. Cobblers is located in an historic part of the village, within walking distance of shops and recreation facilities.

The Dovecote

The Dovecote is a luxuriously renovated and unique hide-away for a romantic country escape just an hour from London. It is part of Sandon Manor Estate with its 1200 acres of rolling countryside, which also comprises the spacious Manor House (see separate listing). We live in a Victorian town house and your double room is light and airy with a private shower room (no bath, and not en suite but just a few steps away across a small landing). It is a five minute walk to the town centre with its great choice of shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Public transport links are also nearby and we are a two minute walk to the local Waitrose store. Continental breakfast provided.
